*Blows away dust*

Haven't touch this space for the longest time. I miss having free time doing this. When you tend to forget about what happened, this thing reminds you of every single bit of it. Actually wanted to do this post quite some time ago but didn't have time to do it.

It's 5.15am (on 2-1-2012, edited and posted on 2-2-2012)

and I'm writing this cos if I don't do it now, am not sure when's the next best time. Heh.

In 2011, there's 5 most significant events/experience that happened in my life.

1) Legacy in SNCC

2) ATCI

3) CWC

4) Karen's injury

5) Decision to do part-time studies

It was one of the toughest nationals that I have gone through. I've trained tons of performance routine but it was only my 2nd Team routine for competition. It's not the routine that was difficult, but the journey was horrifying, and the results, personally, disheartening. As we moved to our 'new' 2nd home, training location was a challenge. Injuries were inevitable because the ground that we usually train at was uneven and rough, space was only enough for 8x7mats. We have aunties in heels/boots crossing over our training ground just to take the short-cut and making holes on the mats that does not belong to us. ):< BRAINLESS AUNTIES. Worse part is when we chase them off, either they scolded us back, or they ran faster making deeper impressions on the mats. -.- We trained under the scorching sun with palms burnt during torturous punishments. We trained under the rain just to piece that particular segment. The number of times we shift the mats in and out during that 3 months didn't matter to us anymore as it became a habit. PS: It was the monsoon period? Then we had the office telling us that we can only train till 9.45pm as they have to shut the cc by 10pm, when us, the working adults could only reach earliest at 7.30pm. We have tons of 'dramas' in and within the team that I think we can shoot a whole 100episodes of The Legacy Story. The worst was when the drunkard uncle (who locks the cc gates) had an argument with the boys and came out with a knife trying to slash us. ): Thankfully we had 2 policemen in the team and no legacy member was injured, but the Taekwando coach from the same cc, who tried to talk to him in hokkien nicely to calm him down, got a slashed at the shoulder. I clearly remember that my legs were jellified and I sat down and stone. LOL. After countless modifications to the routine, frankly speaking, I had no confidence of it. But I went there 2Ts: trust and teamwork.

And after this journey, I've realized what I wanted in cheer. To go to the competition ground with a confident and winning routine because through this my handwork will then be paid off.

Then came Team Lions tryouts. Yes I went, to support Andra, Karen and Fai. I secretly wanted to join but couldn't make myself do it as I had unconfirmed school and work schedules, and most importantly, I don't think that my skills are up to it. There are tons of better flyers out there. And I'm not saying this because I'm proud of it or I'm actually good enough to replace the good flyers in SG etc. But I think it was quite depressing to not see the large pool of talents out there to actually come to do this. I promised Andra that I will be there to support him for his trainings and I did. (: Joined in for training as well (FOR FUN because I wanted to improve.). After CAIO and Lions training resumed, I sounded to Weicheng if I could make it to the team, and I would like to tryout. I can't remember if Weicheng or the committee said anything then. Only realised that I was in when they were just about to book the tickets to ATCI. I knew they were still sourcing for flyers, and I was prepared to give up my position (I SWEAR) to a better flyer. ATCI was not an easy journey. It was the start of suiting into a totally different culture of training. I was totally shocked when people sit down on the mats, lay on them, bases training with no shoes, people laughing at each other when on stunt etc etc. The coach too, was very different. Legacy coaches train together most of the times, and are always very attentive to everything. They will be there to physically, verbally, mentally correct your techniques, whereas Weicheng supervises and suggests; a more adult approach. I've no objections against any. I became more comfortable to the environment as time passes as everybody was having fun at training. Most of the times, our goals were not met because we bargain and ask to give 'discount' and if I remembered correctly, only twice that we did what we were asked to. (The must hit 5 consecutive. Drop/not hit any stunt plus 1, ASU minus 1.) It was a great experience competing with other Asian countries. It was not easy standing at the sideline watching them do their routine during rehearsal. A lot of comparisons and judging done which creates unnecessary stress amongst ourselves, or rather me. The only thing that I'm confident is was 2nd basing. I hardly fly any other stunts like regularly, let alone partner stunts. The routine consisted 2. 1 of which I feared most because I've a bad habit of arching. I remembered vividly that after our 1st rehearsal run at the mats on the 1st day, I immediately had asthma. -.- THE FREAKING AIRCON WAS BLOWING INTO OUR FACES FROM UNDERNEATH THE STADIUM SEATS. Was not so bad cos lucky it was rehearsal and my bag was near. I learnt that a good debrief makes a lot of difference to the team. We had an awesome one in Vincent's room, allowing us to discuss and improvise clearly with the help of our clear video of the Day 1. We made last min changes to it which I failed to execute. ): One of my regrets. Though we were 2nd, we could have had this title with more values and achievements. Lions also did a major trash out after the whole competition amongst team mates, coaches and the committee, which I think it was very important as it allows everybody to know each other better.

We were warned and were aware of our commitments towards CWC. But everybody has different school/work/training schedule. All 16 coming from 7 different teams. Same problems arising then. Most of the time, all 16 are not able to work out on 1 training session per week tgt. It was tough having to do partial pyramids every training, but we've got no choice. When the date was nearing, we finally was able to do our 1 rehearsal altogether. And it was really touching when all stunts hit. When dismounting, everybody asked if any stunts dropped, did anybody dance wrongly etc., instead of just walking away when their own stunts hit. Everybody cared for every single stunts, every single bit of that routine. Really, I've never in my entire 3years felt anything like this.

Lions make me feel... a part of everything. There was a sense of belonging.

): It's sad that everything is wrapping up already.

And then came Karen's fall. There are many times I still blame myself why did i let her go? If only I held her tight and not let her down, everything would have been fine. But I guess.. everybody else who were present never expected a fall like this to be this bad. Nobody knows how much she actually meant to me in Lions because nobody encourages me like how she does. Moreover her being a better flyer, her words are my 'tiu dong li'.

There's tons of memories, truckloads of flashbacks whenever I think of trainings. Tt happy you aspiring to be the best on stage. Love you bestie!

Of course, many thanks to Xuewei. She came down early in the morning for trainings to get warmed up and get ready for stunts. On the 4 hours plan ride, she was on her earpiece watching videos and doing small motions in the pathetic space in tigerair just to memorise steps. Whenever we had freetime (includes walking ard and on the bus), she was so focus on the videos and trying to get the timings. She kept replaying them just to make sure that she got her counts right. All for the dream of the 15 other members and the rest of FCS committee members. She sacrificed her work and her family time to complete this journey for us, with us. After debrief, she will hide in the smoking corner or xingwei's room just to practice her dance steps. She does everything without complains and as we instructed during training and runs so as to get things done fast. She actively asked us to remind her on timing so that everything can be synchronized. We do not mind when she forgot timing, we do not mind when she ran to the wrong mat, we do not blame her for asking us again or maybe x8462826 times which timing to do what etc. Cos in 1 day training you got to memorise all of one of the main top flyer's role. And this isn't a performance. This is a competition on the world stage. The amount of stress that she got in that few days could have been equivalent to the amount we all had for months. She only had got a day training, a day perfecting, and then it's show time. And tt 'a day' isn't 1 day. It was probly 3hrs? Hence, from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank Xuewei for all your sacrifices, hardwork and time. I had never imagined cheering with you, much less being your mid. The 4days spent was enough to build a friendship - laugh and cry tgt. The last full-up was a bitch. I still have tt goosebumps thinking back on how we actually could repeatedly remind each other loudly on what to do and the timing just to get it up. And when it did, joyful tears just rolled. Dramatic? But it's true. Only those who have had similar encounters will understand how it feels.

Thank you Xingwei too! For being yuenbo's sub (minus Ruth) aka nanny, clearing out shit, bringing us water and snacks etc. not forgetting those random motivation to get us all through the competition. No doubt your presence means a lot to Xuewei too! (No room for her to dance, nobody to look at her dance etc.) :p

Ok, next. Otherwise, this post will my end. Heh.

My big decision to study PT. Yea. A big decision because this is the most pricey thing tt I ever spent on myself. Hah. And it's certainly sth tt I do not want it to go to the drain. I wanna do my very best out of it. 1st/2nd class! Wait for me! Oh! And I'm going to Dublin for my graduation! Yay!

Degree

This chanced upon me. And I think I should pen it down and maybe next year after I got my degree I'll happen to think about it?

While clearing my backlog (just 2 days of MC), I realized tt despite the little stress, I love how things are going at work. What if I did not take on my degree and assume more responsibilities?

I already have a lot of job on hand tt filing is almost not in my job description anymore.

Which will be a better path? I really pray and hope tt I did not make e wrong choice.

As for now, mug hard! I want a 2nd class at least!

New Year - New Resolutions

I'm actually in the midst of writing some of the significant events that happened in 2011. It has been one of the most.. exciting one? Obviously I'm not done yet and somewhat busy to do it. It's quite a lengthy entry. Decided to do this one as it is shorter and would really wan a do some reflections too!

Health

Sleep before 1am on Sun-Thurs and have sufficient beauty sleep on Fri & Sat.

Less candies, chips and sweet drinks.

Drink at least 8 glasses of water.

Less alcohol (including wine because of the recent FB article which says alcohol increases the risk of having cancer.)

No food after 8pm as it is considered supper.

Eat more fruits and vegetables.

Supper only once a month.

30 mins run at least once a week.

Yoga/Pilates at least twice a week.

Beauty

To religiously apply eye gel EVERY morning and night regardless of where I am.

Always remember to put on my retainer at least every fortnight.

Not be lazy and put sun block on face and neck every morning. (The females in my family has freckles.)

Save up for IPL. Whole body! :p I'm just procrastinating now cos I'm scared of investing so much money on something like this.

Lesser rubbing of eyes. Haha. How is that a resolution? I've a habit of always rubbing my eyes. So maybe penning this down might help? :/

School

To score at least B for all modules. No retaking of any modules!

2nd upper but that will be my resolution in 2013. Heh. Long term goal that is.

Socialise more. Currently, I can't be bothered to really talk to my classmates cos the chances of meeting them (except for sch) - not much looking at my other commitments. But more friends means more people to compare notes with. I often forget what I write on my notes; what it is actually relating to.

Diligently complete my assignments so that I do not have to worry about deadline!

Others

My goal for my weight is still 45kg which I've never reach it ever since I join cheer. :/ Hopefully by doing the above under Health I'll be able to merely touch the 4 and the 5? :p

To be less lazy, organize and tidy my stuffs frequently.

Overcome fear of doing some cheer stuffs and maybe eventually get a hang out of it? E.g. BHS, Btoss, PS.

Shall review them at the need of 2012. Oh noooo... why time pass so fast? I'm old. ))):

With no intention of getting through, nor expected them to reply me, I recieved an email stating that I've been shortlisted for interview.

Mixed feelings.

Fasting month

Last year, my actual fasting was 2 weeks. Actual meaning full day fast. Bee encouraged me to try half day fast, then food fast (drink water only) before I try the actual fasting as I dont eat in the early morning.

Yesterday was the first day of the fasting month. I went straight to food fast and survived the day.. probably cos I was too busy at work. I only had half a plate of seafood noodle for dinner as I 'just woke up' on the bus and didnt had any appetite then. Straight to bed at 11pm and woke up early to have a small bowl of cereal. :/ I kinda force myself to eat cos it was so earlyyyyy.

And eh-hem.. I feel giddy now. ); Probably because my menses is coming and my tummy is so big zomg. Can the blood like just flow out now? I mean.. I want it to come cos my tummy is so big and bloated and it feels so darn uncomfortable. My period log says it is to start yesterdayyyyyyyyy. Pffft. I'm wating lo. Cos all the symptoms have been persistant since 4 days ago. My cramps have been acting up on Wednesday. Nausea on Tuesday. Bloated tummy on Wednesday.

Once my migraine starts, it better be it!

Back to the topic. I'm still very proud of my muslims friends & cherylteo who endured through this ramadan! Looking forward to the goo food on the 30th! :D

Been missing for very very long. I'm just lazy to blog nowadays cos blogger is so screwed. I've no patience with it at all. Probably because I've used it for years hence my storage is to much for it to fill.

Work, cheer, yoga, pilates..

New hobby! Yoga & pilates! Kinda boring when I go for same classes by the same instructor, cos I can almost remember the moves. So I make sure I go for different kind of classes!

Work has been... monotonous? That's work I guess?

Went to several talks by private schools. Am finally deciding on 1 now. Colleague actually pyschoed me in doing NIE cos I can study for 'free' and if I dont like teaching, I can break the bond and decide to pay later.. it will be the same cost as private. True enough.. but.. we'll see.

Because weekends are packed with trainings and Singapore is so small, I actually wanted to go like a one day tour or something but I doubt it is as fantastic as going to the Zoo. If its a tour, most probably I'll be busy shopping and not really a spent time together thing.

Have not applied leave yet. Probably gonna do it next week. Heh. Cos I've already taken 3 days leave and 1 1/2 day sick leave during this 17 days here. Meaning to say, I've only worked for 11 days to date. Another 1/2 day is Chirstmas eve closure. I feel like a slacker, shit.

It's year end/year start so everybody is too busy with promotions etc etc that they have meetings so often that they forget to give me things to do. But when they're back, I'm piled with stacks of stuffs to clear.

Anyway, back to my zoo topic, we're gonna have breakfast with orang utans! Something new, at least to us. I kinda doubt that the food will be good cos hello, you're in the zoo. But then again, there's nothing much you can do in Singapore can you?

Hahahaha. Had a fun time coaching with Karen for this event. We have the chemistry man! Heh. And this group of people are so sporting. We only had 3 trainings, 1 full dress which consist of a total of 6 hours. Yes! 1 1/2 hr for each training only. They had to remember a 6 para cheer, and 12 counts of dance/stunts. If not for their enthusiasm and hardwork, this could not have pulled through so well.

Did I mention that the crowd was so awesome? It was almost like doing it at the pre-YOG event. Everybody was woo-ing at everything. LOL. Hahaha. With just simple stunts like thigh stands, shoulder sits, small pyramids etc.

Am really glad that the organiser (not the events company) likes it. If not for training, we would have stayed for the scrumptious food at Hyatt hotel. The whole D&D event was just so cute! Everybody really dressed up in school uniforms theme. And not just typical school uniforms, but they have like pai kia clan, harry potter group, graduation batch in gowns, glee clique, korean craze etc etc. Even the CEO was dressed up as the typical English disciplinary teacher with a long ruler and star stickers. LOL.

I love my bangs. But I dont love my hair. I spent hundred over bucks for treatment etc and it seems so worthless. Jean Yip, to think that you are so 'reputable'?

Anyway, gonna have it soften(; Going for the straight hair. No more curls.

With bangs, I realise that i perspire faster. LOL. Maybe cos my forehead is all covered up.

I need a good eye facial to lighten my dark eye rings, anyone? Garnier eye rollover doesnt seem to work on me after about a good half a year?

And I've been so lazy and cabbing all over Singapore ever since my return from Bangkok. ;/ BKK spoilt me. I took a cab from bedok interchange to my house and it cost about $9. -.- FYI, my house is only 4 bus stops away. I think BKK will cost $3? Almost equivalent to a bus ride?

So many things to update regarding...like everything! I've yet to upload pictures.

Side track, my room is now pink for the preparation of the newborn baby. -.- I'm gonna be an aunt to my own niece. Sis is coming home for 1 month confinement. I think I'm gonna be 'ting zhang' (chief of the living room) for a month. I dont know if I can take baby crying in wee hours when I reach home so late nowadays due to trainings.

Im afraid. The same feeling is coming back and I hope somehow somethings will kill it. I dont want us to face the same disappointment and regret all over again.

You know it's so hard to control when you're at one of the best buffets, with all sorts of food that you can ever find. The Dining Room at the Sheraton Towers didnt have much variety for main course, but they sure have lotsa desserts. Not forgetting seafood and sashimi. I had 2 bowls of soup and a plate of sashimi, 3 cups of orange juice, some vegetables, and a spoonful of tiramisu. Yea.. did I mention that there were pralines, many different cakes, FONDUE, honeydew sago etc etc. I'm glad I had so much liquid so as to be bloated.

I'm so upset with Jean Yip's service now. );< Gonna try to tell godma and see if she can help.

4 days of trainings, 3 days of ache. Yea, the only day tt didnt ache was Day 1, when we went there fresh, blank like a piece of paper.

I've gained alot of insights. And many many constructive comments and feedbacks which was much heartwarming. 1 left me speechless, which came from Pi-toey.

I sincerely thank all of them for their ever great patience, especially when all of them are having their exams yet squeezing out time just for us.

Hate to say that I'm back in SG, but again I miss home. Maybe its the environment, which I felt uncomfortable cos Singapore is just so clean. :/ Not forgetting, I miss not sleeping in aircon. ;p I think that's one of the things to me when I'm abroad. When my legs were aching, I thought of my isqueez waiting for me at home. Heh.

And now, I dont have any mood to work cos the thought of department outing at 12.30 is making me so gaga over my spa later. A rejuvenating massage, just what I need from all the aches. Lucky me it's on recovery mode. Otherwise I'm sure I'll kick my masseuse. Oh, side track, I didn't feel like I went to Thailand at all cos there wasn't anytime for me to do thai massage. Like one of the must-haves? Hah. This means my mind was focus, just to concentrate on the training camp. But I admit when I was on the way to the airport, I keep whining to bee that I wanted a Thai massage so bad.

I've always been a constant lookout for good masks, and have tried several different brands. But eversince I've tried Dress Me Masks, i've not change using other brands.

Haha. So what's the difference of the 2 masks above? Basically, the one with brightening effect glows my skin, whereas the one with reviving effects have sorta like a toning effect to me. Meaning to say that, my skin tone was much more even (excluding my dark eye rings). The best thing is, both the masks are filled with moisture, but the goodness of the essence was locked tight in the mask; they dont drip at all!

The mask fits just perfect on my face as you can see on the pictures, and they have a very relaxing scent which puts me to sleep most of the time. Of course, I put alarm because if you put mask overnight, the ingredients will overdo their magical power, and instead of moisturising ur skin, they leave ur skin dry.

Oh, and remember to always pat the residue across your face and neck (which is left on your skin after you remove your mask). You dont want to waste them! Heh. Not exactly. Let me introduce you another incredible product. My first time using such product on my skin! And its…. *drumroll* BB Cream.

Ok, I shall talk more about this product! My skin could still ‘breathe’ even after application. And I'm seriously shopping deprived. Have been saving up for BKK that my shopping needs are all put aside. My wardrobe is so boring now. Should I get that gray longchamp I'm eyeing for since my birthday? Gahhh. I really think it's still very nice even after 4 months of eyeing on it.

I cant wait for BKK, and then back to SG for Christmas celebration. I want to have turkey! ;p Multi racial couples, should we have a picnic/camping, theme Christmas? Or should we book a room again? Ok, I think we should go on a low budget outing this time. We'll decide when it's nearer to the date? And after Christmas, I'm gonna shop shop shop. If time allows. And then it'll be the birth of my little niece. Oh yea, room yet to be revamped because of mum. -.- Super pissed. Dont wanna talk about it anymore. Think if I have any issues next time, I'll just go to dad only. For now, I can only INHALE DEEP to whatever it is. Cos there's no point arguing, no point complaining. I might as well just talk to wall, seriously.

Sometimes, I wish I could just tidy and throw everything that is not mine out of the room.

I've never tried BB cream as I always feel that sunblock and BB cream will clog my pores. On top of that, I don't like the plastic smell of BB cream. :/

New environment, new place, new responsibilities

FB and msn is blocked. So it is both a good and bad thing. At least blogger is not. So during lunch time there's something for me to do(;

Everything is totally new to me here cos almost everything is different. Maybe except the system which looks familiar. But way way way more comprehensive. I'm actually very happy that I'm guided along. Just need hands on now. Year/Month end is just making people go crazy? I dont know.

Basically I've got not much things to do except filing and sorting out documents, otherwise it is just sitting beside my mentor and writing notes.

So I'm waking up like super early now. 6.30am! Yea, that's because I'm lazy to bus-train-bus to office. I have a direct bus from opp my hse which takes about 1 1/2 hr during peak hour. -.- Hop on the bus, find a comfortable position without spoiling my image and zZzzZzz.

Coaching with Karen ytd night..and all of them knows that I'm their staff. Even recieved email from them asking if I am the correct Michelle. HAHA. Pondering now if I should join them for DnD. If I were to go, I will feel left out and have to leave Karen after the performance. But if I were not to go.. abit ??? Like dont give face to my boss. :/ Have to see if it is a compulsory attendance for all staff then.

Alright. Back to work. BYE! Busier than ever now. :/

Ok, so interviews and interviews and trainings and trainings. I'm much happier with what I'm doing now. Just that my bank acct is drying. I seriously need them to be filled up again so I dont have to worry about BKK trip. :/ I'm half excited and half afraid of the trip. LOL. I'm not sure if I can survive it through. Hahahah.

I like it that I go to trainings on time cos I don't miss out on running and stretching. My flexibility deteriorate quite a bit after I missed out all the stretching. I do it at home but still, the feeling is totally different when you are stretched by a partner. But anyhow, I'm still gonna miss this after I've began working life again. Kick up bow, can you come back?

I've been pondering alot lately. About my career/education path. Alot of things set me thinking. I guess for a family like mine, my ultimate direction is to earn money as soon so as to lighten the financial load for my parents. I like to study, and I want to study. No doubt. But these years that I spent studying, I could have actually start contributing to the family as well as earning my experience? Sometimes, I really regretted going to poly, and to choose a 'not specialised' diploma. If I just went on to TPJC or MJC, maybe I'll be in uni now? Yea.. just maybe. Half the percentage I'll be influenced and be in the clubbing clique? LOL. And if I chose a more specialised degree, I wouldn't have much difficulties looking for a job now. So why did I choose Business Process and Systems Engineering? Because I wanted to go to a Uni, and was thinking that if I took a Engineering degree, some modules can be exempted, same for a Business degree. Heh. I'm quite positive about the latest job interview. Keeping fingers crossed. And really hoping that its a good and HAPPY working environment.

Coaching with Karen is F-U-N! We have chemistry. Alot of arm motions, moves, stunts etc.. both of us can say it like together when we are thinking about it. HAHA. Although they are a bunch of working adults, they are very enthusiastic and very participative. We finish a whole cheer which has got about 5 verses, and 1/4 for the music part in 2 trainings! Aren't they just awesome? Best part is, their trainings hours are half of ours! Only 1 1/2 hrs. LOL. But mind you, on average, they are like in their 30s and 40s! Only 1 girl with dance/cheer background as she was in VJ. Still, we are proud of them man. Superb bunch of people!

My router has arrived but I know nuts about it. LOL. This mobile broadband kinda kills sometimes cos during 'internet peak hours', I realized it is slower than usual.

Happy for Karen that just nice this company that I intro her has an assignment coming up! Hehe! So coincidence. Hopefully everything goes well and she'll have a new job too! :D

I miss my feifei. I miss talking and playing with him.

Somehow.. something in me was telling me to check my junk mail. And I'm glad I did. Prior notification announcing that I was selected for the Eucerin Blog challenge. Seriously, this comes kinda sudden as I merely was just clicking a few buttons and trying out my luck.

I'm a happy girl cos I've always wanted to try their products.

I have a combination complex which is somewhat sensitive. I have to use facial products which is almost like water to my skin, at the same time able to remove all oil and dirt. And this is why I only need to get maybe 1 foundation in 2 to 3 years because I dont really use them unless I have performances and/or other special events. FYI, I dont put any foundation on my face except concealer and abit of it on my eye rings so as to blend it out. Heh. And just blusher with a good loose powder. This way, my skin can breathe and wouldnt be easily clogged!

Cant wait and start using my new facial products! Hopefully they fits well so I can continue them! :D

Gonna go to bed soon. Another awesome day awaiting for me to embrace! If only life was this good. Hah.

Right now, my only and main focus is to seek for a job with a HAPPY working environment. Yes, that's all Im asking for.

On a side note, teaching Shyen is like talking to myself. Cos most of the time, she will not be focusing and can be distracted by all sorta of things including her eraser rubbings. -.- I have a feeling that she's gonna turn out like her brother. :/ OH NO! And my mum was SO NOT HELPING as she came to disturb and purposely tell her that her left hand is her right hand when she was already confused. ANGRY. From my vague fainting memory, I could only remember mum teaching me chinese last time and giving me answers for maths homework. HAH. :/ At the age of 6, going 7. Shyen still has difficulties spelling one to ten. Is it normal? No wonder she has tons of tuition.

OMG I'm back! Everything now is just so packed that literally I dont have time AT ALL to update this space. Even if I have time, it's either sleeping/resting/watching tv at home. Of course, most often than not, I'm outta the house. :/

But now that I have my mobile broadband USB, together with a my borrowed lappy from my boss, I can be online everyday (if I want to). Yea.. schedule is so packed that I dont have time for my family. Luckily on Sunday, Cindy was so nice to drive Shyen back to my house. Otherwise, I cant/wont be bringing her to Macs as I promised and to a Cat Champioship!

So back to what I've been doing. October was a great month! You bet! Finally we girls planned something after my birthday! Haha! Another birthday! Chermush's! A surprise at Pan pacific hotel with all her favourite girls + the bfs. :D AND AND AND.. her favourite cheese cake! I've quite a bit of pictires with me. ;p OK. I have TONS of pictures to be uploaded. I need to squeeze in a time to do it! Shall watch lesser tv from now! We chat till dawn and when we all woke up, we still couldnt believe that it was 11.30am already. All the boys wenta sleep while the girls were chatting, so end up..all the bfs started to disturb their gfs. The birthday girl and her bf decided to sleep on the floor too. ;/ Crazy! LOL.

Next was Ziq's birthday! The noisiest chalet that Ive ever been to. I think it's because of the size of the chalet and also the number of people PLUS... they are from TPSU. Anyhow, I still enjoyed my day there chatting and playing and eventually fall asleep with the same girls in the room. And AGAIN..the same couple slept on the floor. -.-

Next time we must take turn ok. LOL. Take turns for the couple to slp on the floor. :p

And.. then it was Andra's birthday! My boy's! Initially it was a surprise for bee. Knowing that he has been spending most of his birthdays by himself, or rather, he dont celebrate his birthday until he met me, I decided to make this a more meaningful one. Hehe. Since he clicks well with my girls' bfs.. We decided to 'surprise' him by 'bumping' into each other at town before proceeding to high tea. BUT I SPOILT THE WHOLE THING. -.- It was supposedly planned on Sunday as the policemen have a parade on Saturday and I have training on Saturday as well. (Ziq is in HTA too) But on Saturday morning when I woke up for training, I saw a text from Lenny saying that training will be postponed to the next day. I JUST GOT UP AND WAS SO BLUR THAT I ACTUALLY TEXT BEE SAYING "Oh shit. Training changed to tml. But I alr confirmed with Ziq and Cher. How?!" Yea..how goondo can I be? Grrr. But still, everything was well just that it was not so much of a surprise other than the high tea which he didnt expected? The morning surprise was the best! Made him pancakes with number 22! :D He was totally outta bed style when he came out to receive his surprise. HAHA.

Ok. This is a very unstructured post as I just type whatever it on my mind now because my head is hurting and I actually aim to sleep at 10pm, but the time has already past. So...BYE! I'll come back with a logical post with many many visuals! :D

I know I know, my blog has been ridiculously dry. Like there's only words to fill you in. I have tons of pictures like I've always said, but just not uploaded. I think my photos are all over the place): I refuse to use my home desktop because it never fail to test my patience. And I cant play restaurant city cos it hangs my comp. :/ Dad shouldnt have send it for repair but just get a new one cos it costs freaking $500 for the repair, like almost half the price for desktops now because of GSS. Tsk. But anyway, eversince Bee got his vaio, I kinda like vaio too. The colours, the graphics, the screen, the photoshopped already installed... ;p Basically everything. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!

You see you see, the keypad can be changed. So cool!! I know right. Ok, and the next thing I need besides my very own laptop is a hard disk for ALLLLLLL my pictures. These shall be in my wishlist. ;p HAHAHHA. And because of GSS, courts is having disounts for all 3 sizes for this model. GAHHHHHHHH. So tempting, but I gotta out aside my moolahs for my birthday.

I wanted to get the loft double bed from Ikea. But it was out of stock till end of this month. -.- Havent checked the outlet at Tampines. I've been a lazy ass and not hitting the gym. The BIGGEST disadvantage of not working in TP anymore); I need to do more green bean exercises to get rid of my fats. I need to get my stamina back. I need to go back to TP to gymmmmmmmmmmmmm. The reason why I prefer TP gym to other gym is because the aircon there will not freeze my nose when Im doing cardio. ;p

Work is busy busy busy busy. But I likeeee... I'll be doing part time degree soon. Time management. Shittttt. I've not done the registration, but I think it's more of less confirmed. At least, I'm doing something that I like. I wanna do Masters too. ;/ Yea, maybe in another 10 years?

Weekend was well spent. Friday night with Bee. Soup-spooned as usual. We're addicted to it eversince Bee and I went there for lunch 1 day. We're almost done trying ALL the soups. Saturday was playing with shyen and bringing the family out for dinner and then to the Singapore Flyer. Dad was like a sua-ku. Looking at the view through out. CherylKoh totally wasted it cos she say its 'bo liao'. Mum kept asking 'na bian shi na li' where is that place etc etc. Miller and sis were walking around the capsule. And I was playing and taking pictures with syen most of the time. I seriously prefer the day view.

The office is the size of my previous company's conference room.
Home aft work, finally cleared up my wardrobe, removing unwanted ones. I can fill it up again!! No..? I think if I hang some more, my wardrobe will end up like Karen's, the bar detached from cabinet, and I will die cos my wardrobe is made to fit my room. Mum recently bought a hanging stand, which kinda help my wardrobe to 'lose weight'. ;p but at the same time, decreased the size of my room. I almost typed pay cos my boss is talking about me about salary of candidates. HAHAHHA. Oops.
Ok, I'm really really planning for a revamp. This time, dead serious. Gahhh. Cos I cant stand the mess. Tsk!

Almost everything was as planned. Hehe. My successful surprise again! Heh. Got him an ax top, and passed him on 1 random days during meeting. LOL. I wanted to pass it to him today but because my collegaue brought it to the office that day, I didnt have a choice cos I cant possibly leave it in the office right. Anyhows, he wore the top today. (((; I didnt ask him to. So it was still good.
Woke up earlier than usual on weekends, to help tidy up the house, prepared, watch tv while waiting for bee to text me cos I always reach earlier when we meet at City Hall. :/ In the end, I was the one who was late. ;p

Legacy Day. East Coast Park. Cramps. First day sucks. Good news annouced. Moody. Sad. Disappointed. Heart-to-heart talk. Shout. Frustrated. Subway. My intention of going to subway was actually for their cookies. But I havent got lunch, so I ate half the sandwich and gave the rest to Bee. Finished both the cookies unknowingly. ;p Sweet tooth. Fei Fei and kitty. So many people. Pyramids, stunts, tumbling on the beach. More than 16 men. We could do a routine. :/ I dont like pyramids without shoes....cos the top flyers stepped on my hands with feet sand-filled. Sand abrasion almost make my forearms bleed. 1 short and 1 long top flyer. So fun. Soaking of my arms in ice cooling water at night.

Sunday was training which I was happy with myself cos I almost forgot about my ankle(;

Was supposed to meet Wendy for dinner on Monday but that girl didnt reply my msgs. In the end, I only found out the day before that she changed her number. -.- Anyhows, met baby at town for...............AYAM PENYET. ;p
I was controlling and resisting myself from spending most of the time while waiting for bee before he reached. :/

The thing is, my area in the room is so untidy that I've told myself to clear them up first before adding in more things, cos there's certainly no place to put them anymore, especially clothes which CHERYLKOHYANLIN always messes up in the wardrobe. Most of ewhich, i dont see her wearing anymore. -.- I hate is when mum irons our clothes (office wear) and after she tries it on and shakes head to them, she throws them in the cardboard. HELLO..., HOW MANY TIMES MUST I SAY THAT YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WEARING THEM?! One more time and I'm sure that I'm taking that cardboard away from you!!!!!!!!!

As you can see/read, my room has not been revamp ever since x567554875647 times that I'd mentioned that I wanted to. Cos I dont see a point to when I spent so much money while the room will be messed up covering all the revamps. TSK. I must come up with a deal. Deal with her on the things that she should/should not do so as to counter to my jie bi zheng. But I dont even see her often now. :/

Ok, back to my dailies. Ytd was gym/training with Blaz. Verdict: I dont like rolled mats cos they caused abrasions easily. ;p I need to strengthen my ankle. Ankle ankle, please get well. I'm not gonna care about you so be strong and stand up for yourself ok. I'm still gonna take care of you; less heels, and that's just about it. I'm still gona do my workouts/exercises/PT as per normal cos my mind will be stronger than you. I'm still gonna run, jump, skip etc etc. I know you always give up on me when doing gym, but I need you to be strong so that i can accomplish allt he things I've planned out to do. Cos with you being so weak, I can only give my self excuse. Ok, stop it michelle. ;p

Gonna meet Aunty Elizabeth today to discuss/update her on my planning. Heh.

World cup is sucha nuisance. Stupid people stepping on our mats, crossing the mats when we're tumbling/stunting, and the most ridiculous...PUTTING THE CHAIR ON OUR MATS. WTF. These uncles seriously are retarded. So next time you park your motor in the carpark, and I happen to have an aching leg, I sit on your bike ok? Or maybe my shoe lace came off and I need to tie them, but my thigh hurts, I just lift my feet up onto your bike so that I can tie my shoelaces..ok uncles? I cant think of any examples for cars though. GRRRRRRRRR. Brainless freaks making us shift.
I'm just angry at ... ARGH. Cant wait for it to end. Because of world cup, our training venue has to change. Yea, I'm just a stubborn cow.

I've no idea why I'm so agitated. Maybe because of those brainless uncles.. especially those putting their chairs on the mats la. -.-

Super came to TP on fri to study for his test, at the same time wait for me to knock off to head to the airport. Heh. Bryan was in school for project discussion too.
So the 3 of us were on our way to the airport, which the intial plan was to dine there with the LOOF. But they kept changing plans and we were so pissed as we were stucked in the train stations and didnt know where to head to. Fortunately, Bryan suggested to go to his place to wait for them to finally settled on a place. I didnt think it was a fantastic idea as they had decided to head to kovan, but when we reached Bryan's house.. they said they will be going AMK. Like phhhhewwww... We almost travelled half of Singapore in the train if we didnt go to Bryan's place.
That day just... wasnt a good day. Other things made me kinda not really happy too. Grrrr.

Saturday
Super wenta airport to study so I headed to find him after I had my haircut etc. Most of my curls are gone. Heh. Straight hair coming back. It's kinda boring but... oh wells. I had my curls for more than a year. I look younger too? Haha. Gotta built the habit of combing my hair after bath now. :/ I wanted to bang them.. but my hair colour currently has 2 tones. So my fringe will be black, while the rest of them brown. HAHA.
Walked around airport, chit chatted. <3
And later headed to pasir ris for joanne's 21st. Happy is so cute! OMG. Yorkshire terrier miniature. It felt so squash-able yet fragile.

Sunday
Training was.... I hate green beans day. First time doing push up till I couldnt feel my arms and almost not able to bend my elbows after the jumping jacks. LOL. Nevertheless, it feels good mentally to me having aches cos... it means that I've trained. My deltoids and triceps are freaking tight but I'm loving it. :p
Headed to town for dinner at Lucky Plaza. Lucky Plaza ayam penyet is making me love ayam penyet. But I think they couldnt find any chicken to flatten that day and gave us chicks instead. -.- I was totally famished and the size of the chick ): me. Fee was so nice to give me a piece of his more fully grown chick. I only had cookie crisp cereal before training.
Met the rest, and we were off.

Bedok interchange was so boring that I didnt know where to go. My appt was at 8pm so I thought I could walk around for 1hr+ before heading to the dental. In the end, I reached the dental at 7.15, and luckily the person missed his appointment. Hehe. Yea.. and my gum hurts now..

Wanted to surprise bee ytd cos was m_ss___ him. So went over to amk. Surprise failed cos he kept calling me aft work as I told him I'll be heading to gym. In the end, met him at amk hub and he surprised me with koi(((((;
He went home to change out and we headed for jalan kayu prata!!
Super super impromptu decision. Heh.

So my diet plan failed on Saturday. Cos... cos cos... aiya. I hate menses la. They just make us crave for rubbish food and once you have it, you just cant stop. GAHHHHH.

PC show with super in the afternoon, and thereafter, went to find sis. Erm.... i got alot of things to say, but nvm. We had yuki & yaki which I only remember eating teriyaki dory, sambal dory, teriyaki salmon, salmon sashimi and nuggets. LOL. I can become a cat man. *meowwwww.

I wanted to treat them but dont know how come Miller gave his card. So I just keep quiet lo. :p BLEH. Felt bad after that and I had SERIOUS cravings for chocolate, so i suggested andersons. Fondue was just.........oh-my-godly delectable. I can just scoop the belgian choco and put it in my mouth. :p OK, bee was shocked when he saw me eating fondue. HAHAHAHAHA. I bet i look like a 5 year old kid eating fondue for the first time.

World cup at Miller's place cos Bee watch Argentina too. So I just followed. HAHAHA. I think I fell asleep after 10 mins of kicking. :/

I'm glad I'm still able to do my consecutive frontwalks despite the injured ankle. I have to get it check the last time but my sinseh's shift and my available time just dont click. Gahhhhhh. There's still something wrong inside cos I cant flex))); Did tss with fairul. Ok, my jump is like shit now cos I only reach like just nice. GAHHHH. I wana fly high. I'm still in a state of shock that I actually landed on derricka's shoulders. :D Come on derrick! We can do it. Go go go! I think if my ankle could have tahan ytd, there would be more successful ones. I think my bases improved! Ok, I must ask andra to check if there's anything wrong with me on thurs.

So after 2-3 weeks of not training, I'm glad my basics are still with me. :D I thought they'll be gone. :/

After training, bee and I went for our date. (; Initial plan was to dine at Canale, but changed to NewYork2. But we couldnt find NewYork2, and were lazy to walk, so we just settled down at The Canteen.

1 mushroom soup and calamari rings to share and I had bangers and mash while bee had some chicken with spaghetti. Average rating? Like 6/10? Their frappes were good though, just limited choices.

Walked around town to get the food digested. Didnt really have much appetite. I only managed to finish half my portion when I ate just 2 plain pieces of wholemeal bread in the morning which last me for training. Shop for abit and I got 2 new bras. HAHAHAHAHAH. Ok, too much info. BLEH. I can throw away old ones already.

My favourite character is BIG BABY!

Although some may say it looks creepy, and others say it's disturbing, I feel that this big baby needs someone to take care of); I remember having my own girl baby doll when I was younger. Exactly the same life-like baby doll with the soft, cuddly fabric body and vinyl arms, legs and face. CherylKoh and I would always fight for the doll just to "take care" of it. We will feed our yang-wa-wa with her magical bottle. And even bathe her secretly without mummy knowing, squeeze dry her tummy and put her in front of the fan. I think I even created a sleeping area for her after her cradle broke beside me with small blanket towel, and her tiny pillow that comes along with it.

Big baby has similar features to my yang-wa-wa which caught my eye when I first saw it. "With dazzling blue eyes that open and close, this realistic baby encourages nurturing play. Eighteen inches tall, he comes dressed in an adorable yellow onesie with matching bonnet, and has his own magical bottle of milk that disappears while he drinks! I'm glad I didnt draw on my yang-wa-wa and always bathe it though. :/

Of course, my favourite scene is when Ken and Barbie met! He was totally smitten, while Barbie, smittenly-shy. I think that's the "awwwwwwwwwww...." part for almost every girl who use to play Barbie. :x Oops. LOL. I only had 1 Barbie, and she's still with me on my home desk! :p

The truth is, I'm lazy to post pictures; copying and pasting the link codes from photobucket. And I cant seem to find the blogger function on it too. GAHHHHH. So frustrating.

I dont know where to start. So many things happened. Certainly, this blog lack of real updates. And pretty pretty pictures. Should I change blog? So that I can post pictures? Hmmm...

Let's start from way before SKM. Cos that is where I didnt really update. My schedule was so packed. Work, gym, training. All I wanted to do then was a very good sleep. Weekends were spent with bf.

SKM was all planned out pretty well. But I'm sure, no, we all were sure that we could have finish the routine way before hand - if Andra POP earlier. But just before Andra POP-ed, something had to happen. I was all geared up, anticipating for that last 3 trainings cos I know it'll definitely be a big change with his presence.

Accidents happened. A three degree sprain. I thought it was just a sprain, and I would be better by the next training. But I had to be on crutches. I couldnt walk, couldnt even stand on 2 legs. It only got better just recently. Anyway, crutches are nuisance. Sorry shane. They hurt my armpit and my arms felt like they went hardcore gym just after 2 days' use.

the nurses wanted my foot to be flat on the board for xray, but this is the furthest I could go.

Thank you Xinyi, Shaun for picking me to and fro the hospital in the wee hours, and Justin and Shane for accompanying me to the sinseh. Justin for coming all the way to my house at bedok from BOONLAY, and going to Pasir Ris. And also piggyback me from the carpark to the sinseh, not forgetting the long flight of steps! Shane for lending me your crutches, bringing them to the sinseh for me. I bet everybody stared at you when you board the bus. :/

Andra and I had to go back early in the morning to keep the mats.. and it made me felt ultra bad that I could only sit and watch.

On Saturday, it was a hard decision. I was thinking of it for the pass 3 days. Thinking of whether should I withraw from the team, how am I supposed to phrase it to Andra, can i really get well by SKM, can I do all the stunts that was put out for me etc etc. I finally decided to tell Andra when we were having breakfast. I tried to sound as cool as possible, and yeap, he too was already thinking about it looking at the state that I was at.
It was later decided that I will be withdrawn and gary will be substituted. It wasnt a good feeling. Not because I've been pulled out, but because of many other things. Why must I be hurt at this time? Why cant I recover now? How will the team do? How will the routine turnout like? Why cant i just stand up and walk? Why must I fall? How are the other new midbases gonna cope? Why did I had this bad sprained? Why must I suffer all this? Why How Why.....? It was ribbon-making. But I didnt have mood to make any when I'm the hands on kinda person. I just wanted to sleep. I want to sleep it off. I couldnt control my emotions, and all the whys are running through my head. I literally cried all the whys and hows out.
Thank you super for comforting me. Three things that he said that stopped the weeping me.
1. How will the team feel when they see you in this state? Their morale will be pulled down right?
2. How will Selvam feel?
3. Maybe god knows you want this badly, and that you have trained ultra hard, so this is his way of telling you to rest.

I stopped, and soon it was training time. I wanted to go home seeing them train. Seriously, I just want to go home. It hurts seeing them doing the routine all over again, changes here and there BECAUSE OF ME. BECAUSE OF ME BECAUSE OF ME BECAUSE OF MY STUPID FOOT. Fortunately, I had my iphone. I gamed for the whole approximately 3 hours? I remember telling myself that the team needs support at about 9pm, and i must stand strong for myself, for them. More stunts not hitting and I feel worse.
I felt better after a night's sleep. I was ready to be legacy's supporter. It's not 16 men doing the routine. It's just 1 team. My heart was with this team. And I shall go all the way with it.
PS: Just that sometimes I feel left out); Like Jessie not writing the card for me post-skm. HOW COME I DONT HAVE! )';

Despite having difficulties walking, I went to training after work, all trainings without fail. OK, maybe not the last 2 cos I was taking care of Na-saow and BU ma. No choice.

1st day of SKM. The spirit of legacy was there. I bet most went home with no regrets. But hey, that was only a performance. Everything was near perfect. Everybody went home happy. But sue hyperventilated. And it was for hours. . . . . . .
2nd day of SKM. Sue said she was fine, but everybody had their reservations to her 'fine'. Last minute changes to the routine still. I didnt get to see it. Even for the dry run, it wasnt good. The last thing I said during the whoosh was to ask them to leave those mats once again with no regrets. Did they?

How should I put it? Part of me, of course never never never ever wanted this to happen. But hey, this whole SKM thing made us learn truckloads. Picking up damn full of shits along the way. Let me see, what are the other shits? Jessie sprained her ankle after stepping on Andra's foot, Citra working, Jay's retardedly dislocated hand, Selvam, Andra in camp, Karen's sprained ankle after btoss LOF which her leg landed on Andra's chest..etc etc. Dont you think after all this, legacy grew stronger? Cos we picked up whatever shit and just carried on. Neither of us gave up. Also, gary was trying to blend into legacy. And because he was involved in the routine, it was so much easier for us to mingle and fuse together. There, we brought in a competitive new member. (;

1 team everybody want to see, not how big or how small or the numbers we have. We'll coalesce as one and stand strong for each other.

Clearly, it is becoming ever more competitve. Surely, it is growing. Individual or team. But why cant it grow healthly? Like when we were in school studying? Everybody asked each other for help. Some offered to help, with no further motives. There were mentoring programs, study groups etc. Programs designed to help the needy students. However, there's none of this in the cheer scene. Because, when you are weak, you ARE weak. Either you train up your skills, or you find somebody willing to sacrifice to guide you the techniques.

But how many actually will sacrifice their time just to guide their skills to another? Minimal. How many are willing to learn and accept whatever comments that are shot at you then?

Because, this is a dog eat dog world.

As everybody is growing, people become selfish; jealousy triumphs over almost everything. Jealousy simply kills.

I'm not refering to particularly anybody nor any team. This is just something general, dont you think so? Even in the workforce. But of course, the working environment that I'm in now is just too family bonded. No doubts there are gossips and backstabbing, like...this is life isnt it?

I believe there's a evil and angelic side in every one of us.

And what leads to our wickedness comes from jealousy and covetousness. The greed to want something.
